Travelling – Brussels

By  |  2 Comments

Hola everyone,

These last days I made a short but pleasant trip to Brussels. The purpose may be boring for most of you, so I will just end up this idea with mentioning that it was a European Commission workshop about linking research, business and innovation. If you want to know more about it, write me 😉 It wasn’t for the first time for me in the capital of Belgium, so I was very relaxed and not in the usual tourist mode – running to see that, hurrying up to check that out and so on…. This time, I let my colleagues to decide where to go, depending on what they would like to see.

City break Fashion

Therefore I was thinking to share with you three things that you can easily take with you when going on a city break with this rainy weather:

  • Leggings  – because they are so lightweight, so small and more than that, so easy to combine with longer shirts or pullovers. You can take with you a cool longer shirt and another pullover and you have 2 outfits in an instant. Without being worried about the space, nor the weight of the luggage. I have to admit that I am not a fan of leggings but for this trip particularly, I found them very useful 🙂
  • Neutral coat/jacket – because it can go with everything. A coat in beige or black shades is so easy to mix with everything, for example the rain boots or any other color of your trousers/shirts.
  • Cool scarf – adds some “interesting” to your outfits. And it is not only about adding colors, but you can bring a cool pattern into your look. If you keep it in neutrals, a colored scarf is the best thing to change the neutral and shyness of the outfit. Not to mention, that your face will be beautifully contoured by the scarf.

I’m going to Brussels in November, should I bring a pair of rain boots, like Hunter?

      Hello Vashi,

Oh, yes! They will be very helpful. This autumn came very fast, so there is a high probability of rain in November in all Europe.
Enjoy the city and let me know how it went!

      Hug, Andreea
