Boho chic outfit. In love with flower power
Hola,
Spring without flowers is like Paris without Eiffel Tower. It’s hard to imagine one without the other. This year, more so than ever, flowers are all over the place. They’ve invaded our balconies and made our wardrobes bloom. Let’s face it; it’s hard not to have a crush on flowers and colors, when the smell of lavender is the air.
Urban Bohemian Look
When Spring hits, all I can think of is running barefoot through fresh grass wearing a flower crown and a long, flowing dress. Uh, sounds so good, right? OK, I may have to plan a trip to the countryside this weekend! But for those of you having city adventures, you can still look like an ethereal goddess by adopting a bohemian style. The key elements of recreating a hippie chic style are headbands, floral prints, long skirts, fringing, denim, shades of brown. If you want avoid looking like young Yoko Ono, there are some twists you can use to bring modern and urban edge to your wardrobe.
Distressed Jeans. You can replace the long skirt/dress with distressed jeans. This is even better for those of you who don’t like wearing long skirts.
Accessories. This spring you can’t go head out without a flower crown or fringe handbags. Combine them with a massive silver necklace to emphasize that urban chic.
Look of the day
My closet has begun to flourish with many floral print items. And as I love to take photos even more than I like to pose, I grabbed my beautiful friend, Alexandra, and asked her to be my modern hippie model. I kept her makeup natural and I used only pastels and soft shades of brown. It was so much fun playing hippies and we really hope you get inspired by these beautiful pictures!
Outfit details: Alexandra is wearing Zara Kimono, Ethnic white blouse (local boutique, similar here), Mango distressed jeans; sandals from MaryPaz; handbag from DayaDay and one gorgeous flower headband.
