How to easily change your outfit from day to night

By  |  2 Comments

During the last couple of years, I’ve been switching my home quite a lot, and as a result my closet has become a bit smaller every year. But I think it’s all about the basics and knowing how to match the right pieces.

As an example, take a look at these two outfits. Actually, they are made of the same clothes, however with a few tiny little details that turn it from a daytime into a night time outfit.

What have I changed?

  • Shoes: from sneakers to high-heels sandals (from & Other Stories)
  • Bag: from a casual handbag to a more elegant and smaller one (Parfois for the day, Michael Kors for the night)
  • Hair: a casual ponytail for the day, hair down for the night
  • Makeup: a simple, natural based makeup for the day, and for the night I put some gloss and another layer of mascara.

I like the way you changed the look. The night outfit is very beautiful. I like a lot the shirt and the Michael Kors bag.
    Thanks for the advice!
