5 Coats to Wear this Fall
Trends are coming and going and hardly leave any space for individual ideas. That’s why you have to choose the patterns that fit your body and personality and adapt to your lifestyle. From all the trends this winter, I’d like to present to you five styles of coats that you can wear for many years to come:
- the minimalist grey coat
- the oversized beige coat
- the faux-far coat
- the double-breasted coat
- the colourful coat
The Minimalist Grey Coat
I bought one myself last year, and can’t be happier because the trend is still alive. I’ve seen an almost exact model of my coat in current collections of many brands. This is what I call smart shopping! Take a look at ten examples of this minimalist and sometimes thick grey coat.
Get inspired on how to wear it for different occasions. But believe me, this colour is versatile and looks very stylish!
The Camel Coat
Like the grey coat, the beige one is extremely versatile and elegant. As you can see from the outfits, you can wear it with black and white combinations to the office. For a sporty casual look, you can wear it with sneakers, blue jeans and a sweater. If you are looking for an outfit to go out, wear blue jeans with an elegant blouse (even a silk shirt), high heels and top it with the beige coat. It’ll make you look fabulous!
Military Inspired – Double Breasted Coats
Inspired by army coats, this trend has arrived this autumn. Be prepared to see it more and more this winter and next spring. I’ve seen beautiful models at Mango and Zara. The double breasted coat completes the perfect 70s trend that is so hot right now. If you are tall, you can easily choose a long coat as well, but if you are petite, I would suggest keeping the length of the coat no longer than knee level.
Faux Fur Coats
Keep you warm and stylish. If you want to invest in a good one, then choose a classic colour such as black, beige or brown. If you wish to follow the trends, try the burgundy or the dark green ones.
